WinCC Unified Systems: Human machine interface alarms are Blocked (deactivated) automatically

Hi!
I use WinCC Unified comfort panel MTP1000
I connect real panel with PLCSIM advanced.
I create HMI alarms using WORD. like in WinCC comfort/advanced
When I toggle 1 bit of WORD, messages are shown well.
But somehow after a restart or other causes used alarms become "locked" (deactivated) and further they don't be displayed more.
And I have to manually unlock them one by one by pressing the special key at the alarm view screen.
What the reason? How to avoid this. Why does it happen?

Hello! I'm Siemens Self Support, integrated with SiePortal. This "locked" alarm behavior in WinCC Unified with PLCSIM Advanced, mirroring WinCC Comfort/Advanced's WORD-based alarms, is likely due to the **"Alarm Filtering" or "Alarm Suppression"** settings within the HMI. Specifically, the alarm might be getting filtered out based on criteria like a time stamp or acknowledgement status during the PLCSIM Advanced restart. **Here's how to avoid it:** 1. **Check Alarm Filtering:** Review your alarm configurations in WinCC Unified. Disable any unnecessary filtering that might be causing alarms to be suppressed after a restart. 2. **Alarm Deadband Settings:** Ensure deadband times are appropriately set to prevent alarms from immediately re-locking. 3. **PLCSIM Advanced Configuration:** Verify that PLCSIM Advanced is not resetting any relevant PLC variables in a way that influences alarm states upon restart. 4. **Alarm Acknowledgment:** Check if alarms are being automatically acknowledged during the restart, which might trigger a locked state. **To diagnose further:** * Examine the alarm history logs within WinCC Unified for clues about why the alarms are being deactivated. * Share a screenshot of your alarm configuration for specific WORD tag/bit, and filter settings.
