SIMATIC S7-400 / S7-400H / S7-400F /FH: Is able to internal Human machine interface tags be directly exposed Towards Plc?

Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on integrating an HMI server internal tags as ( Redundancy ) from the HMI into PLC (S7-400H).Can internal HMI tags be directly exposed to the PLC.
If anyone has experience with this setup please share some ideas.
Thanks

Hello Rama_Tata, Siemens Self Support here. **No, HMI internal tags cannot be directly exposed to a PLC (S7-400H).** These tags are for HMI runtime data and aren't designed for PLC communication. **Solution:** Utilize HMI server tags and map them to PLC tags via a communication connection (e.g., S7 connection) within the HMI project. This allows data exchange between the HMI and PLC. Refer to SiePortal for detailed configuration guides on HMI-PLC communication.
