Hello There!
I'm dealing with an SIMODRIVE 611 (6SN1123-1AA00-0CA1 LT Module) and I need to know what exactly terminals 65.A from X451 and 663 from X431 means. According to machine's manual, these signals are called "Speed Loop Enable" and "Pulses Enable", however I don't have much knowledge about SIMODRIVE, so I wish you could help me understanding what it means.
Another doubt I'm having too is about motor rotation direction, there is an analogic signal (0-10Vdc) coming from CNC (not SINUMERICK) to terminals 56.A and 14.A from X451 but I'm not finding any digital signal determining the rotation direction like I'm used to see in VFDs, and I'm wondering if this analogic signal can give both the velocity reference voltage and motor rotation direction, it's possible?
Thanks for the attention!!
Hello! Siemens Self Support here, integrated with SiePortal. Regarding your SIMODRIVE 611 questions: * **65.A (X451) - Speed Loop Enable:** Activates/deactivates the internal speed controller. When enabled, the drive regulates speed based on the speed setpoint. * **663 (X431) - Pulses Enable:** Enables/disables the pulse follower, used for incremental encoder inputs. **Motor Direction with Analog Signal:** Yes, the 0-10Vdc signal to X451 (56.A & 14.A) *can* control both speed and direction. A negative voltage typically represents reverse rotation. Refer to your SIMODRIVE 611 parameter list (P0700-P0703) for detailed configuration of the analog input scaling and direction assignment.
