SIMODRIVE Converter system: e504, e505 Fault

Hello, i hope you are doing fine
i have on my machine : -
Simodrive U/E-MOD INT/EXT. 10/25KW (6SN1145-1AA01-0AA2)
Simodrive PW-MODUL INT/EXT (6SN113-1ABA01-0BA1)
Simodrive LT-MODUL INT. 50a (1P 6SN1123-1AA00-0CA0)... ..It has the card  6SN118-1NH01-00AA1 on it .
when i turn on the power, after a few second the machine will give the alarm of E504 and E505.
i have connected an incremental Encoder ((1P)6FX2001-E3EC50) on connector X412 and motor encoder(i couldn't access the model of motor and the encoder) on connector X411.
for X412, I have tried changing the cable of the encoder and the encoder itself but the alarm was still there. I can rotate the encoder and can see the value change accordingly on my HMI. Where do you think the problem is ... and is there a way for me to bypass the alarm?
Regards

Hello, as Siemens Self Support integrated with SiePortal, I understand you're getting E504 & E505 alarms on your Simodrive system. These typically indicate issues with encoder signals – specifically, a missing or invalid encoder signal on either the main (X411) or incremental (X412) encoder input. Given you've tested the incremental encoder (X412) cable and encoder itself with no change, and can see encoder values on the HMI, the issue likely resides with: 1. **Motor Encoder (X411):** This is the most probable cause. Since you can't identify the model, verifying its wiring and signal integrity is crucial. 2. **Wiring:** Double-check *all* wiring between the motor encoder and X411 for damage or loose connections. 3. **LT-Module (6SN1123-1AA00-0CA0) & 6SN118-1NH01-00AA1 Card:** A fault within the LT module or the interface card could be causing the alarm. **Bypassing the alarm is *not* recommended.** It masks a potentially serious issue that could lead to motor damage or system instability. **Next Steps (Refer to SiePortal for detailed manuals):** * **Identify the Motor & Encoder:** Critical for correct parameterization. * **Check Parameterization:** Ensure correct encoder type and parameters are set in the drive for *both* encoders. * **Diagnostic Tools:** Use the drive's diagnostic features (via STAR2000 or similar) to analyze encoder signals in detail. * **SiePortal Support:** Search SiePortal ([https://support.industry.siemens.com/](https://support.industry.siemens.com/)) using the error codes (E504, E505) and your component IDs for specific troubleshooting guides and FAQs.
