We are using S7 400H PLCs having MLFB
6ES7412-3HJ14-0AB0
. Currently I am able to access Profibus PA devices using PDM 6.1 from ethernet. But I am not able to access Profibus DP devices using same configuration. Once I try to access I get attach error which says the module does not support routing over Profibus DP. As per the datasheet of CPU it shows the module support routing function. Can anyone clarify and provide supporting document.
Help file suggest to swap the module with the one which is having this functionality
(how I will know if particular CPU support routing over DP or PA)
or
connect the PG with Profibus subnet that includes DP slaves. (customer not willing to do so)
