Hi,
I am busy developing a SMS notification system for a production facility and have run into a problem. The SMS program, developed in SCL, works fine on its own, however, when I combine it with the production facility’s control program, it does not function as it should – it appears that a FIND function in the program stops returning that correct result. I have had a similar issue earlier while developing the program, which I resolved by reducing the nesting depth to free up more of the L-Stack.
With the programs combined, I found that if I disable the Interbus function blocks - FC24, FC 21, FC22 – the program works fine, which leads me to believe that the present issue is not an L-Stack issue since, if my understanding is correct, the L-Stack should be freed after these FCs have been executed.
Please find attached a print out of the program structure, showing L-stack usage.
I would be most grateful for any advice as to how I may resolve this, and or confirmation whether my understanding of the L-Stack is correct or incorrect.
