The modbus RTU to TCP converter is the one that does the work of moving from one medium to another, so you can use the blocks spoken in the Siemens PLC and configure them as if they were RTU (IP and ID).
What PLC will you use?
What you should see is how to configure the modbus RTU to TCP (ID, baud) converter.
Hi everyone!
I need to do this configuration in my application. I am using a 1512 (TIA V16) controller, a Modbus-RTU/TCP-IP converter (not gateway, only medium converter) and I have a Modbus-RTU Slave at the serial side. The converter I am using does not have any GSD file to install, then I created a TCP connection between the controller and the converter. The block Modbus_Comm_Load need a hardware identifier at the pin PORT. There's any way so I can configure the block to read slaves data?
