I have a project where the main program has been created and hardware configured using version 13 of TIA and has a number of drives within it that were configured using Step 7 starter.
I’m trying to expand a rack by adding a few digital input/outputs cards but was wondering if I download the hardware configuration whether it will wipe/overwrite the configuration of the drives as I’m downloading it using TIA and they have been configured using starter? Or is it possible to only download the hardware configuration for the rack I’m expanding and not the entire project? Relatively new to TIA so slightly concerned it will cause bigger issues.
