For my project, I hadplanned for Zero speed switches to be used for detecting the shaft rotation status (50 Nos). Due to budget constraints,Now I am evaluation the option ofusing Proximity switches and convert the same PLC Logic.
Cost of Prox - 50 USD
Cost of Zero Speed switch - 250 USD
If I go with Proximity I would be saving 250 USD * 50 Nos = 12,500 USD.
Now my question is:
Is there a standard function block or a function block which converts proximity switch input (PNP 24V DC) to a Zero Speed Switch Output.
Could any one from forum guide me please!
