Hi There,
I'm looking for some guidance.
Can I use s7-300 315-2DP cpus (2 off)connected to a ET200 I/O nest and also 2 redundant mp377 Touch Screen HMI screens in a fault tolerant redundant system.
The system that I am looking to install is for an alarm system within an installation. All alarms will be inputed to the ET200 I/O nest (analogue, digital inputs). Need the system to work so that if one cpu drops out, the other cpu will automatically pick up and also have both MP 377 screens operational and any one time, no matter what cpu is running.
I believe there is a software package called software redundancy that you can use for this, is this correct. Also how would I setup the network for the above task.
