Logosoft Multiple Function Switch - Reset Time Issue

Dear Customer,

The issue you're experiencing with the "Multiple function switch" in the Czech version of Logosoft, where the output Q1 remains ON even after releasing input I1, is likely due to an incorrect implementation or misunderstanding of the 'T' parameter.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Verify 'T' Parameter: Double-check that the 'T' parameter (reset time) is set to a value greater than 0. A value of 0 effectively disables the reset function.
  2. Check Logic Configuration: Ensure there are no other logic elements in your program that are holding Q1 ON independently of the Multiple Function Switch. Look for parallel paths or latches.
  3. Timing Considerations: Consider the scan cycle time of your PLC. If 'T' is very small, it might not be reliably detected within a single scan cycle. Increase 'T' to a more noticeable value for testing (e.g., 100ms or higher).
  4. Software Version: While less common, confirm you are using a supported and up-to-date version of Logosoft.

For more detailed information and examples regarding the 'Multiple function switch' and its parameters, please refer to the Logosoft documentation:

If the problem persists after checking these points, please provide a copy of your Logosoft program (or a relevant excerpt) for further analysis.

Sincerely,
