I want to create an application with an S7-1200 with double role.
Firstly, I want to use it sending e-mail when certain alarms are activated (CP 1243-1 maybe?) and secondaly I want to have remote control through its WebServer and custom HMI screens configured in the PLC.
In case there is Internet connection available on site, is CP 1243-1 necessary or I can connect to the local internet and send both e-mails and have access to the web server?
