Hello, i am after some help. Currently an existing system we have an S120 set up with a CU320 controller with 3 motor modules all using drive cliq encoders. One of the motors has failed and due to lead time i have purchased an induction motor to try and replace this. The motor is for a conveyor using speed control only with encoder feedback. I have an SMC30 for the new HTL encoder to connect to the drive cliq interface. When i try and change the starter project configuration for induction motor it then crashes the CU320. Since looking at a few forums it seems you cannot have two servos and 1 induciton motor running off the same CU320, does anyone know if this is correct? And is there anyway i can make this work? In the configuration 'technology application' can i select [100] standard drive (servo) even if it is an induction motor. Please give me any advice possible.
