Dear experts,
I am trying to monitor data(velocity, position...) from an drive with resolver. This drive has a gearbox and on it is mounted an external incremental encoder. I am trying to read data from this external encoder. I use SIMOTION D445-1 and I already configured axis and i am controlling it trough program written in MCC. I set this incremental encoder as TO external encoder and assigned it to the axis of the drive, but when I try to get values trough trace I get no responses, they are all 0. So I would like to ask if this approach is correct and how can I get these readings.
The incremental encoder is connected to SMC 30.
