I'm working on a project for control and datalogging different process. And i have to choose a model of 1500 cpu. Looking into the hardware catalog on TIA Portal V16, there are a few models to select.
The main characteristic in this project is that the cpu will be placed on a board alone whit a ethernet switch. And we will use profinet IO modules like ET200 and IO Link masters.
So, there is any specific feature to look at for choosing between diferets versions of S7 1500?
Also for datalogging it must to be able to connect to a sql server.
