Industrial Edge: Industrial Edge Management Server: unable Towards Access the login page

We are trying to login to the Industrial Edge Management Server, but are unable to open the login page.
We are trying to login to the Industrial Edge Management Server, we have a virtual machine ready and have allocated 16GB RAM and 300GB HHD from the D: Drive (Non system drive) to the Virtual Machine , we have also assigned the Static IP to the Host PC. When we get the IP address for the server, we are directed to the register portal, we have given a new instance every time during registration. When we finished we clicked on the edge management but got edge login and recovery key instead of user and password. And when we tried to refresh we got a black page. We also received 404 error at times. And now in our recent tries, we are not getting past the loading page(PFA)
Please suggest a solution, is it because of storage?

Industrial Edge Management Server Login Issue

Industrial Edge Management Server - Login Troubleshooting

It appears you're experiencing issues accessing the login page of your Industrial Edge Management Server. Based on the symptoms (404 errors, black pages, loading screen hangs, and receiving recovery keys instead of login credentials), and given your VM configuration, here's a breakdown of potential causes and solutions:

Potential Causes & Solutions:

  1. Storage Configuration: While 300GB HDD seems sufficient, allocating it from the D: drive (non-system) can sometimes introduce performance bottlenecks or access issues. Recommendation: If possible, try allocating the storage from the system drive (C:).
  2. Resource Constraints: 16GB RAM is generally adequate, but ensure your host machine isn't heavily loaded during startup and access.
  3. Registration Issues: Repeatedly creating "new instances" during registration could lead to inconsistencies.
  4. Browser Compatibility: Ensure you are using a supported browser (latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge are recommended). Clear your browser cache and cookies.
  5. Network Configuration: While you've assigned a static IP to the host, verify the VM is correctly obtaining network connectivity and that there are no firewall rules blocking access to the Edge Management Server's port (typically 443).

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Restart the VM: A clean restart can resolve temporary issues.
  2. Check VM Logs: Examine the Industrial Edge Management Server logs within the VM for error messages. These logs are located at /opt/Siemens/IndustrialEdgeManagement/log
  3. Re-register (Carefully): If other steps fail, try re-registering, but this time, ensure you're not repeatedly creating new instances. Follow the registration process precisely as outlined in the Industrial Edge Getting Started Documentation.

Further Support:

If the issue persists, please open a support request via Siemens Support, providing the VM logs and detailed information about your setup. Include screenshots of the error messages you're encountering.
