I faced with a task on transmit of characters set to serial interface device (e.g. command
POS?;
).

Despite everything looks good at both patterns theoretically. I'm stuck after a few unsuccesful attempts to send a command and to receive an answer. So I decided to post here my questions.
Yes, there might be a range of reasons interferring to normal communication (e.g. Baud rate and so on.)
