I'm fairly new to the world of PLCs but have a good understanding of control loops. I gathered some data and I understand that the LMN returns a value scaled between 0 and 100%. My first question is how does this scaling happen? Secondly, I have data that shows LMNP and the math for LMNP works out to be (SP-PV)*GAIN, however this returns a value that has a unit same as SP or PV. However, when I look at LMN, it is the summation of LMNP, LMNI and LMND. How is the summation of these parameters returning a percentage? I am definitely missing something here and was hoping someone could point out where my understanding was wrong. I appreciate your help in advance. Thanks!
