I am trying to access Process Image Input/Output, Peripheral Input/Output and flag area of CPU 416-3 PN/DP through my application. I have accessed to Process Image Input/Output with "character" data type. I have following queries:
1. I can access process Image I/O with 'character' data type but not with 'byte'. What is the difference?
2. I am unable to access peripheral Input/Output, how can I do that ?
3. I am unable to access flag area. I don't know about the flags. What are the flags forPLCs? for what purposes flags are used ?
