Update your settings

Hello,
I've got Sinumerik 802S system for turorial purposes. While I was studying it, I was able to upload mpf files from the CNC to my laptop with WINPCIN via RS232c interface. However, when I have uploaded PLC data and then tried to open it with PLC802 programming tool, it couldn't open it. The reason I uploaded the data with WINPCIN is I could not establish a link between PLC802 and CNC. When PLC802 prompted me to set PG/PC interface, the list on the left did not contain PLC802(PPI) interface, as I have already looked through many forum threads that this is the one I need. I have tried with 802D(PPI) interface, but the attempt was unsuccessful. I'm running Programming Tool PLC802 V3.1.2.11 that came with the system's ToolBox. Any suggestions?
Also, here is something I wanted to clarify. When I extracted PLC data with WINPCIN with no problems, I assume I couldn't open it with PLC802 because WINPCIN saves PLC project and PLC alarm text messages into one file. Am I right?
Note: No STEP7 software have been installed onto the laptop prior to PLC802 installation. If it matters, my OS is Vista 32-bit.
