HI Experts,
I want to see if you could help me.
I am student, working on a project which involve the modification of a machine, which is controlled using Simotion D445-1. I have some experience working with plc (Omron, Allen-Bradley) but not in control motion and any experience at all with siemens.
What i got is this (Numbers according to the picture):
1. Motion Controller D445-1; Firmware V4.1 - PN-V2.2 mit SINAMICS S120 V2.6.2
2. CU320_2_DP (6SL3040-1MA00-0AA0)
3. Smart Line Module: Input 3AC, 380-480V 50/60HZ, Output: DC 600V 27A 16kW. (6SL3430-6TE21-6AA0)
4 to 8: Double Motor module: Input DC 600V, Output 3AC 400V, 1,7A. (6SL3420-2TE11-7AA0)
I want to see if someone can explain me what is it each module, and  what are the function of each one, which one is exactly the plc, what is the CU320, and smart line module... and why do we need them.
Regarding the machine, it is a machine with 10 Asynchronous motors, 400V, 0.55 kW. Each motor have an Incremental encoder 1XP8022-10, 1024 pul/rev. which values are gathered using a SMC30 6SL3055-0AA00-5CA2 and sent it to the Double Motor modules.
