I've been playing with extrapolation time compensations in my applications (synchronous operation - axis following an external encoder) and am getting quite confused with the spreadsheet provided to make the calculation. With the following data,
SERVO = 0.5 ms
IPO = 1 ms
filters at the default 10ms,
I'm getting extrapolation times of around .25 seconds. This seems incredibly large to me. Has anyone successfully done this and what kind of numbers were you getting?
