STEP 7 / STEP 7 Lite: forcing & dimulating Ai

Good day all experts.
May i know how to force the output for 300 and also how to simulate the AI for 300 as such it will trigger the output, without using any 4 to 20mA simulator,ig possible?
Can the DI also be forcef same as DO?

Hello! As Siemens Self Support, integrated with SiePortal, here's the information you requested: **Forcing Output (DO) for 300:** Within TIA Portal (or Step 7), you can use the "Force" function (usually under Online > Functions > Force) to directly set the output (DO) of the 300 PLC to ON, irrespective of the program logic. **Simulating AI without 4-20mA Simulator:** * **Software Simulation:** TIA Portal's simulation mode allows you to input analog values directly, effectively simulating the AI signal without external hardware. * **Direct Input:** Some PLCs allow direct numerical input of AI values during online testing. **Forcing Digital Inputs (DI):** Yes, you can force Digital Inputs (DI) using the same "Force" function in TIA Portal, simulating a switch closure. **Important Note:** Forcing should *only* be used for testing and troubleshooting. Never use it in a running production system as it bypasses safety mechanisms. For detailed steps and safety precautions, please refer to the SiePortal knowledge base using these keywords: "TIA Portal Force Output", "PLC Simulation Analog Input", "Digital Input Force".
