Communication / Networks: Central processing unit 6ES7314-6CH04-0AB0 Issue Including Cp 6GK7 342-5DA03-0XE0

Dear Experts,
I have the new CPU 6ES7314-6CH04-0AB0 and try to add CP 6GK7 342-5DA03-0XE0 but the software can't download the HW config properly. It's something like can't reach the CP.
When i tried to connect it with 6ES7 314-6CG03-0AB0/6ES7 317-2EK13-0AB0 the software can download the HW config properly.
I also tried to downgrade the firmware version of 6ES7314-6CH04-0AB0 from V 3.3.11 to V 3.3.1 but the SF still lit on the CPU module.

Is the reason is about the P bus and K bus?

How to solve this communication problem between these two items?
Regards,

Dear hary_ps, As Siemens Self Support, integrated with SiePortal, the issue likely stems from compatibility between the CPU 6ES7314-6CH04-0AB0 and the CP 6GK7 342-5DA03-0XE0, specifically regarding firmware and backplane communication (P-Bus/K-Bus). Here's a breakdown and solution path: 1. **Firmware:** Despite downgrading, the SF LED indicates a potential firmware issue. Refer to [https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/62612539](https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/62612539) and ensure you've applied *all* recommended updates in the correct sequence. 2. **Backplane:** The successful connection with other CPs suggests the backplane itself is likely functional. However, the CP 6GK7 342-5DA03-0XE0 may have specific firmware requirements or compatibility notes with the 6ES7314-6CH04-0AB0. 3. **Troubleshooting:** Review [https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/22410800](https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/22410800) for general CP/FM module integration issues. Ensure proper module seating and check for any visible damage. **Recommendation:** Check SiePortal for known compatibility issues between *these specific* hardware revisions and firmware versions. If the problem persists, consider contacting Siemens Support directly with your hardware versions for further assistance.
