Dear Rusli, As Siemens Self Support, integrated with SiePortal, here's the answer to your questions: 1. **APL Compatibility:** Yes, you can use PCS 7 APL (Application Programming Language) with the CPU 412-2PN. However, note that the CPU 412-2PN is a standard PLC and doesn't inherently *require* APL; you can also program in SCL/LAD/FBD. 2. **AS PO License:** Yes, PCS 7 software *will* request an AS PO (Process Object) license when you download to the CPU 412-2PN, even though it's a standard PLC. This is because you are using the PCS 7 engineering environment. You'll need the appropriate number of AS PO licenses based on the number of process objects you intend to configure on the PLC. For detailed licensing information, please refer to the SiePortal: [https://support.industry.siemens.com/](https://support.industry.siemens.com/) and search for PCS 7 licensing documentation.
