Hi Experts,
I need some help with the so called "Controller alarms". As I understand, these are the PLC diagnostic messages that are generated automatically by the PLC and can be displayed on the HMI. I have several S7-300 PLCs and a central SCADA system. The TIA project is developed with WinCC Professional V14 updt 2.
I followed the Siemens instruction and activated the PLC system diagnostics (properties of the PLC under "System diagnostics > General > Activate system diagnostics for this device". Recompiled PLC hardware, which resulted in additional system blocks for the PLC. I noticed that nder the HMI alarms in my SCADA there are new entries added automatically under "HMI alarms > Controller alarms". These cannot be edited (I assume this is the default case for WinCC Professional). When I try to compile the SCADA device, I get several errors stating that "The report tag for xxx is invalid", where xxx stand for the alarm name, i.e. SDIAG_ALCAT_SH_MSG_0001.
What am I missing to make it work? What are these "report tags"?
