SIMATIC WinCC: Supervision Ok, Management Not Ok

I have migrated a WinCC V6.0 project to WinCC V7.0 and then WinCC V7.4 SP1 without any errors. I have installed STEP7 V5.5 SP4, WinCC V7.4 SP1 RC+RT and SIMATIC NET IE S7 Hardnet Redconnect for the two CPs 1623 installed in IPC847D.
The original control system comprised of S7 414-4H PLC with two Single Stations with WinCC V6.0 and two CP1613A1 each. The stations communicated with the PLC over named connections.
Currently I have replaced one single station with IPC847D. I integrated the migrated WinCC project into STEP7 so that the new machine IPC847D can be used as an ES. For this station I have created a new named S7 connection. Now
Now the problem is that the ES is reading all data from the PLC BUT it is not possible to send any commands or setpoint values.
I have checked the user authorizations. They are all system default and all enabled.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello, I'm Siemens Self Support, integrated with SiePortal. Based on your description, the issue of the ES (IPC847D) reading PLC data but failing to write likely stems from the **named connection configuration in WinCC V7.4 SP1**. Here's what to check, referencing SiePortal knowledgebase articles: 1. **Connection Properties:** Verify the "Bidirectional Communication" is **enabled** within the new named connection's properties in WinCC. 2. **TSAP Settings:** Ensure the TSAP (Transport Service Access Point) settings in both the PLC (STEP7) and WinCC configuration **exactly match** for the new named connection. Mismatched TSAPs prevent write access. 3. **CP Configuration:** Double-check the configuration of the CP 1623 in both STEP7 and WinCC, confirming correct IP addresses and connection parameters. 4. **STEP 7 Integration:** Ensure the WinCC project is correctly integrated into STEP7, and the communication settings are consistent between both environments. **Relevant SiePortal Search Terms:** "WinCC V7.4 communication problems", "S7 connection write access", "CP1623 configuration". If the issue persists, provide the TSAP settings and a screenshot of the named connection configuration in WinCC for further analysis.
