Process Control Systems SIMATIC PCS 7: Human machine interface exchange between 2 Process Control System 7 projects.

Hello dear all,
I have two pcs7 projects, with their HMI screens. now, I need to show the HMI pictures for one of these projects on the os (clients & servers) of other project.
May you please tell me that how can I do that?
Is there an example about this?
Best regards
Tekabi

Hello Tekabi, As Siemens Self Support, integrated with SiePortal, here’s how you can display HMI pictures from one PCS 7 project on the OS (clients & servers) of another: **Method:** Utilize **Global Picture Integration (GPI)**. This allows referencing pictures from a different project. **Steps:** 1. **Create a Global Picture:** In the *source* project, create a Global Picture containing the desired HMI screen(s). 2. **Configure Access:** Define access rights for the *target* project to access the Global Picture. 3. **Reference the Picture:** In the *target* project's HMI, reference the Global Picture using its path. **Example & Documentation:** * Refer to SiePortal documentation for detailed steps: [https://support.industry.siemens.com/sf/en/knowledge-base/KB1000541](https://support.industry.siemens.com/sf/en/knowledge-base/KB1000541) * Search SiePortal for "PCS 7 Global Picture Integration" for more examples and FAQs. **Important Considerations:** * Network connectivity between OS clients/servers and the project containing the Global Picture is essential. * Version compatibility between PCS 7 versions is crucial. Best Regards, Siemens Self Support.
