Hi,
Do you have any idea to uncheck the optimize block access in FB41?
P/S: S7-300 in TIA Portal was unchecked by default but S7-1500 was checked
Thank You
Hello, As Siemens Self Support integrated with SiePortal, I understand you're inquiring about the "Optimize block access" setting in FB41 for S7-1500, and why it differs from the default in S7-300 within TIA Portal. **Here's the key information:** * **S7-1500:** "Optimize block access" is **enabled by default** due to the processor's architecture and integrated memory management. It generally improves performance. * **S7-300:** "Optimize block access" is **disabled by default** as it wasn't beneficial and could cause issues with the older hardware. **To uncheck it:** Open the FB41 block properties in TIA Portal and disable the "Optimize block access" option. However, **carefully evaluate the impact on your application's performance** before disabling it on an S7-1500. For detailed information, refer to SiePortal documentation on FB41 and memory management for both S7-300 and S7-1500: [https://support.industry.siemens.com/](https://support.industry.siemens.com/)
